Details

Go2Bohemia staff lives in harmony with the rhythms of the nature. Previously, people lived in awe of nature, and saw their home on Earth as a gift given to them by the universe. Our off-season hike gives you a unique opportunity to see some wonders of the northern region of Czechia; precisely the Bastei Bridge in Germany and Pravcicka Gate/ Arch in Czechia without summer crowds. Experience long distance scenic views in winter atmosphere full of chill on your cheecks and calmness in your mind and soul.

Our fantastic and professional guides will pick you up from your doorsteps in Prague, subsequently you will be transfered in our cousy minivan to the two of the most breathtaking national park locations. After an 1 hour and half you will be mesmerized by the stunning winter natural formations, learn about the locations and Czech life (in general) during our conversations throughout the day.

The first location is the magnificent Bastei in Saxon Switzerland National Park, which is located in Germany, (including the awesome, sandstone Bastei Bridge and the ruins of the Neurathen Castle) mounted high above the Elbe river valley in Germany. Views are spectacular, air is fresh, and this hike is a warmup for the day.

The second location is a 2 km hike up to monumental Pravcicka Gate/ Arch in Bohemian Switzerland National Park, locate in Czechia. You will walk through divine forrest which finally opens up at the top for the view of the Arch. It is perfectly doable in winter with no need for special gear or a fear of too cold weather.

During this hike you have a break with a warm tea, coffee or mullen wine and a little snack if you feel peckish.

The tasty and rich lunch will take place at well known local Czech restaurant. The food is delicious and the choice varies from traditional Czech food to international dishes, followed by Czech beer, mullen wine or a soft drink.
